Joe Duepner is business owner, attorney, and long-time Westfield resident. Joe brings a unique perspective on the importance of staying true to our community’s past while planning for its future to the City Council.
Joe believes that growth in Westfield is inevitable, and that it’s important to get ahead of future development through proactive planning. His vision for Westfield is to be a city that values having ample opportunities for residents and businesses to thrive now and in the future. Joe is focused on making conservative financial decisions around smart growth and the infrastructure that supports it. He is committed to diversifying Westfield’s tax base, and foresees Downtown having its own unique personality and amenities.
Joe is a licensed attorney and started his law firm, Duepner Law LLC, ten years ago. His success as an attorney is rooted in becoming deeply ingrained in his client’s stories and his passion for learning about new things. Joe is driven, and he prides himself on his follow-through and dedication he provides to anyone he serves. He is committed to applying the same philosophy to serving on the city council, being there for residents whenever they may need him.
The Duepner family enjoys traveling, sports, and outdoor activities. Joe and his wife, Adrienne, have two children - daughter Dylan, 14, attends Westfield High School and son, Ty, 8, attends Washington Woods elementary. Joe has served on the Westfield Youth Sports Inc. (WYSI) board of directors and serves on the Villages of Oak Manor HOA board.
