Joe Dupener is a long-time passionate Westfield resident, attorney, and business owner who will bring a fresh perspective to the Westfield City Council. He will focus on smart growth, creating a desirable downtown, and will always stay focused on the community he grew up in.
Smart Infrastructure & Growth
As a Westfield City Councilor, Joe will make fiscally conservative financial decisions based on the anticipated growth of the city.
- Our roads, sidewalks, buildings, and other infrastructure should support an inevitably growing city.
- Westfield should actively make strategic and smart decisions around growth.
- Traffic throughout the city, and especially around Grand Park, should be addressed strategically through an in-depth infrastructure plan.
Community-Focused Perspective
Joe is deeply invested in Westfield’s community. He is passionate about the city’s future, and wants to ensure Westfield never loses sight of its roots.
- Joe is a community advocate --- he grew up in Westfield and is a Westfield Schools graduate.
- Joe is committed to the youth of Westfield, and has formally served on the Westfield Youth Sports Inc. (WYSI) board of directors.
